Mô Tả Công Việc
- In the absence of the Restaurant Manager carry out the daily operation of the Restaurant ensuring effective communication of all required standards and procedures to all Emeralds employees.- In conjunction with the Restaurant Manager constantly monitor the quality and presentation of all food items, liaising with Executive/Sous Chef to ensure the same.- In accordance with the Emeralds Restaurant procedures, ensure guests are given prompt, attentive and unobtrusive service at all times.- Perform related service duties as required throughout service periods. - Conduct all stocktakes and equipment inventory with Restaurant Manager as required.- Whenever appropriate and opportune, in accordance with procedures, ensure that up-selling of food and beverage items is undertaken, giving guests the opportunity of partaking of all food and beverage options open to them and maximising profitability of outlets. - Ensure all procedures in regards to wastage and transfers are carried out, between Emeralds and Reflections. - Undertake to deal with any guests complaint in a professional, helpful and friendly manner at all times and immediately advise Restaurant Manager of the situation (contact the Assistant General Manager in the Restaurant Manager’s absence).- Any other duties as requested by the Restaurant or Assistant General Manager due to business demands. - Monitor weekly roster for all restaurant staff, ensuring that adequate manning levels are in line with the terms of the Green Island Resort AWU Enterprise Agreement.
- Inform the Restaurant Manager of any queries posted by guests so that an answer can be given (related to Supervisor line of responsibility only).
- Liaise with guests regarding any complaints, take action as necessary, and report to Restaurant Manager verbally and in writing. In writing can be done by email or through a log book
- Direct staff to various areas within the department to meet service needs.- Keep labor cost down to the overall target of 24% for the day. 2 Last Updated 7/3/2015- Oversee the supervision of all staff in all Restaurant areas and ensure that Company policies and procedures are followed at all times, and that Company standards are being upheld. Report any concerns first to the Restaurant Manager if needing any further action see the Assistant General Manager - Liaise with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure effective cooperation and communication between front & back of house operations. - To take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment- At the end of each shift complete all necessary daily reports. - Hold a Food safety supervisors certificate, Check all areas of the Restaurant to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety and sanitation of the workplace - Work in any area requiring additional staffing.- Attend any training or meetings as and when required by Quicksilver Connections.- To perform any other duties as designated by Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager Due to business demands. - To take responsibility for and ensure security of Emeralds Restaurant. - At all times promote and follow legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the responsible service of alcohol.
